What We Do

Thank you for joining us in our journey – Poverty to Prosperity – and building a brighter, more inclusive, and sustainable future for children, youth, and working individuals, women in particular. Your generosity enables us to create lasting change, ensuring access to education, health, and livelihood opportunities for all, especially individuals from underserved communities.

Together, we can empower individuals to rise above poverty and contribute to a prosperous and equitable world.

How We Do

At Samvaw Foundation, we believe that empowering children, youth, and working individuals, women in particular, is key to achieving sustainable development and equitable society. Here’s how your contribution makes an impact:

Thank you for being a part of our GEM (Grandma Earth Mission) project – SAMVAW’s proprietary initiative – where your donation ensures that every child, regardless of their background, has access to the knowledge and tools needed for a sustainable future. By supporting GEM, you are empowering children to learn about sustainability and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through captivating stories. Your kindness helps shape young minds, fostering environmental responsibility and creating a brighter, greener tomorrow.

Every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment to explore, learn, and grow. In India, 1 in 5 children live in extreme poverty, with many lacking accesses to education.

Donate in GEM so that children everywhere grow up with the wisdom to lead the world towards a sustainable and equitable future.

Your generous support for the HOPE Programme – SAMVAW’s proprietary initiative – brings holistic wellness and sustainability education to the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) such as college and university going youth, nurturing their mental health, happiness, and environmental awareness. With youth unemployment in India at 23 per cent and continue to rise, your donation provides the tools needed to build a healthier, happier, and more sustainable future for individuals and communities.

Donate in HOPE to equip our youth with the skills, vocational training, and mentorship needed to thrive in today’s competitive world. Your support will help young people become confident, capable contributors to society.

KARMA: ISR to CSR is SAMVAW’s proprietary initiative that transforms Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) into impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by fostering a culture of active employee engagement in community-driven initiatives. Your contribution helps empower employees to bridge the gap between corporate goals and grassroots impact, creating a workforce driven by purpose and accountability.

Through KARMA, we design initiatives that align CSR objectives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. These activities promote holistic growth, from boosting employee morale and retention to fostering meaningful change in underserved communities. By supporting KARMA, you amplify corporate CSR efforts, enhance employee satisfaction, and make a measurable impact on society.

Join us in transforming ISR into a powerful catalyst for social progress. Together, we can drive sustainability, equality, and prosperity, creating a more inclusive and resilient future for all.

Gender disparity and discrimination remain pressing issues in India. According to the Global Gender Gap Report 2023, India ranks 127th out of 146 countries, with significant gaps in economic participation, educational attainment, and political empowerment. Nearly 66 per cent of women in India are either unpaid or underpaid for their work (ILO, 2023), while only 14 per cent of leadership roles are held by women. Studies show that women reinvest 90 per cent of their earnings into their families and communities, compared to 30-40 per cent by men.ShaktiShalini aims to address these disparities by empowering women and girls to overcome barriers of inequality and discrimination. Your donation helps provide education, skills development, and leadership training, enabling women to achieve financial independence and take on leadership roles. Your generosity directly impacts lives, ensuring a future of equality, dignity, and opportunity for all.

By supporting ShaktiShalini, you not only uplift women but also create a ripple effect of empowerment that transforms entire families and communities.

Donate today to ShaktiShalini and be a part of this transformative journey. Together, we can break the cycle of inequality, fostering a society where women are equal contributors to progress and prosperity.

India witnesses over 40 million internal migrants moving to metro cities in search of better livelihoods and improved quality of life. However, many of these families face harsh realities, with limited access to nutritious food, secure housing, and stable income, leaving them vulnerable to hunger and malnutrition.

Bharan Poshan addresses these challenges by ensuring that urban poor and migrant labour families have access to nutritious food and fostering long-term food security. Your donation helps us tackle this growing crisis, directly contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: Zero Hunger.

With 14 per cent of India’s population undernourished (Global Hunger Index 2023), and children in urban slums suffering disproportionately from malnutrition, your support plays a vital role in building healthier, resilient communities. By nurturing the next generation with proper nutrition, Bharan Poshan empowers them to break free from poverty and thrive in their pursuit of better opportunities.

Donate to Bharan Poshan today and be the change that helps urban migrant families rise above adversity. Together, we can ensure these families transition from survival to stability, paving the way for a sustainable and prosperous future.

Why Your Donation Matters

Your support is a cornerstone of SAMVAW Foundation’s efforts to address pressing societal challenges and create meaningful change across five states in Northern India—Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Through our flagship initiatives, your donation fuels SIX impactful projects that address critical needs while driving systemic transformation.

Donate for Education: Advancing NEP 2020 Goals

Under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, India aims to achieve universal education for children aged 6-14 by focusing on equitable access, holistic learning, and foundational literacy. However, 15 per cent of children in this age group remain out of school (Ministry of Education, 2023), underscoring the need for accelerated efforts.

Your contribution supports SAMVAW Foundation in aligning with NEP 2020 objectives by conducting awareness drives, providing learning resources, and advocating for inclusive policies. We work to enrol out-of-school children, ensuring they have access to quality education and a nurturing environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and growth.

Together, we can bridge educational gaps and empower every child to realise their potential, building a brighter and more equitable future.

Donate for Protection: Addressing Gender Disparity and Social Security Challenges

India continues to face significant challenges in gender disparity and social security. With over 10 million child labourers (ILO, 2023) and 30 per cent of women aged 15-49 experiencing domestic violence (NFHS-5), urgent action is needed to protect vulnerable populations from exploitation, abuse, and inequality.

Your donation empowers SAMVAW Foundation to raise awareness about critical issues such as child marriage, child abuse, and domestic violence. Through education, community engagement, and advocacy, we connect affected families to support systems, ensuring they receive the help and protection they need.

Your support drives impactful change, breaking cycles of violence and inequality while building a secure and just future for all. Together, we can foster a society where safety, dignity, and equality are fundamental rights for everyone.

Donate for WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)

In India, access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) remains a significant challenge, directly impacting health and nutrition outcomes. According to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5), 35 per cent of children under five suffer from stunted growth due to malnutrition, and 57 per cent of women aged 15-49 are anaemic. Poor WASH conditions exacerbate these issues, with over 50 per cent of rural households lacking access to piped water and over 15 per cent still practising open defecation (JMP Report, 2023).

Your donation helps us address these interconnected challenges. With your support, we conduct health camps, distribute essential nutritional supplements, and implement WASH interventions, including access to clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene awareness programmes. These efforts not only improve nutrition but also reduce waterborne diseases, ensuring healthier, more resilient communities.

Join us in creating a future where every individual has access to the basics of health, nutrition, and WASH. Your generosity can help break the cycle of malnutrition and illness, paving the way for sustainable and equitable development.
